Resort Information
Our resort is built on Popototan island , southwest of Busuanga island, province of Palawan.

Popototan is about 3 km (1.86 mi) long and 1 km (0.62 mi) wide and almost entirely grown over with a pristine jungle-like population of trees. Because they are about 150 to 200 years old we deliberately paid attention during construction of the resort that not a single tree had to be cut rather did we adjust the construction of the buildings to the nature, i.e. construction was done where trees were permitting it. All around there is nothing but pristine nature enabling you to get the perfect Robinson feeling.

Momentarily, the resort consists of a 3 guest-room residential building and the residence for the resort management as well as the diving base. By the end of the year 2000 another residential building and a restaurant will be completed. All buildings were built by hand using only locally available natural materials. Building the houses on stilts is contributing to its cooling emerging from the wind wafting underneath.

Right in front of the resort there is a very beautiful local reef dropping off to a depth of about 15 m (45 ft). 5 minutes from our site you can even find a small wreck measuring 20 m (60 ft) in length. The well-known Coron wrecks are also a merely 30-minute boat-ride away from our resort.

Of course you can also participate on many interesting trips to different islands thus avoiding to miss out on one of the various sights in that region. A must-see is a visit to the wildlife sanctuary of Calauit where you can observe zebras, ostriches, antelopes and many other wild animals as well as an excursion to the hot spring nearby Coron, a guided jungle tour, adventurous cave diving or a ride in a banca (small boat) along a river through unique nature.

Facilities

Our guesthouse is divided into 3 separate rooms. Each can accommodate up to 3 persons. In our sanitary facilities you can avail of 2 showers and 2 restrooms.

Each of the almost completed bungalows offer also space for 2 - 3 persons. But unlike the guest-house each bungalow has its own shower and restroom.

The room rates are inclusive of all meals. Beverages have to be paid separately.

Each meal - breakfast, lunch and dinner - are served buffet-style.

For breakfast you have the choice of bread and/or rolls, ham, eggs, jam, fresh fruits etc.

Lunch and dinner are cooked asian style: various dishes with fish, chicken, beef and pork etc. served with the appropriate side dish.
