The Tarabanan Resort and Restaurant is a small family resort in Palawan, the westernmost archipelago of the Philippines. Ideal for nature-tripping and relaxing vacation, it is located at Barangay Concepcion, some 70 kilometers north from the main district of Puerto Princesa City, the province-capital.

It views over the open sea of the famous Honda Bay in Puerto Princesa. Tarabanan lies half way between Puerto Princesa and Roxas, the next bigger city. It is a perfect starting point to discover this fantastic island. From here you start in the north direction after Roxas, you'll find enchanting islands for diving. And further after Taytay, you'll find a fort from spanish colonial-time named Fort Isabelle. In the farthest north lies El Nido, a Mecca for fans of the underwater-world. It also has a unique landscape of limestones where the edible bird's nest are gathered.

On the west-side of Palawa island, on the height of Roxas, lies Port Barton with with its harbor that serves as a stop-over or starting point for the voyage northward. Sabang, in the middle of the Saint Paul Subterranean River National Park, lies opposite the Honda Bay which is on the west-side of the island. From there you can reach the Puerto Princesa City Subterranean River National Park,
an 8-kilometer underground river.

Accomodation
All Cottages are built from native materials embodying the traditional construction. Sufficiently built for four up to six persons, the cottages are especially constructed so our guests could have a direct view of the sea.

The receiving area in every A-house type cottage is significantly located below with the spacious bathroom at the rear end. It is equipped with American Standard, flowing water, shower and toilet. The rooms are all electrically illuminated through the solar and wind powered-system of the Resort.
